LCMC (Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ)
Alpha USA
We have partnered with Alpha to provide several different courses exploring Christianity over the last 15 years. Check it out here!
Daybreak Shelter
We provide meals for and sponsor the work of Daybreak Shelter for the people of Joliet and the surrounding area. Check it out here!
Feed My Starving Children
Our members and youth often volunteer at Feed My Starving Children. If you would like to volunteer or check out their organization, click here!
Foundation for His Ministries
We are partnered with Foundation for His Ministries in Baja, California. Part of our churches tithe goes to fund this ministry and has done so for 15+ years. In the past we have sent members to provide mission work in Baja, California. Check them out

G.O. Ministries
We have partnered with G.O. since 2010, sponsoring children in the Dominican Republic and sending our own missionaries overseas in 2013 and 2017. Meet our Missionary partners: Brian, Caballo, Elisa. Our Sunday School classes sponsor a little boy and a little girl through G.O. Ministries every month and send gifts, cards and letters, receiving cards, letters and photos in return. InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
For over 75 years, InterVarsity has had a vital presence on hundreds of college campuses, courageously proclaiming Jesus as Lord and Savior, engaging in discipleship around Scripture, and loving people of every ethnicity and culture.

Lightways Hospice
If you are caring for a loved one nearing death Lightways (Formerly known as Joliet Community Hospice) located just down the street from Messiah Lutheran is your next call. Be sure to tell them that you would like the pastors from Messiah Lutheran to help in your loved ones care. Our members are active volunteers at the center. Click here to learn more. Lutheran Disaster Relief Assistance
Lutheran Disaster Relief demonstrates the love of Christ as they respond through local congregations by supporting the needs of victims of catastrophic natural disasters with a spirit of sharing God's love. Learn more here.
Lutheran World Relief
Faithful Lutherans have a long history of rushing aid to the front lines — near and far — when crisis strikes. From sending emergency supplies to delivering LWR Mission Quilts, love has been reaching children, women and families in the direst situations. With your support, together, we will not abandon these neighbors now. LWR helps by delivering critically needed resources like medical care, food, water and essential supplies where they are needed most. More information here.

Pregnancy Resource Center
Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center offers free services (pregnancy testing, ultrasound exams, abortion education and after abortion counseling) in a caring and confidential setting by staff who specialize in pregnancy and sexual health issues. Learn more here.
Additional Partners
All of the offerings gathered during worship at Messiah are tithed (the first 10% of all gathered is given away) to ministries throughout the community and world. In addition to those mentioned above we support Cup of Cold Water.
