Music Ministry
Got Music? We do! There are a lot of opportunities here to use your gifts to worship the Lord!
Contemporary Worship Team
Our Worship Team consists of Adults and Teenagers from our Congregation and leads the congregation in song during the 11am Sunday service and other gatherings. The team may include a group of singers and a full band or just a soloist accompanied by a guitar. The team of musicians and singers practices the songs throughout the week in preparation for the weekly worship service and a final rehearsal is held the Friday evening prior to the service. Our worship team differ from the Sanctuary Choir in that they tend to sing more contemporary, upbeat worship songs rather than traditional hymns. Rehearsal is Saturday mornings at 9am and/or Friday at 6pm!

Sanctuary Choir
The choir rehearses on Thursday nights from 7:15pm to 8:45pm, beginning in late August and continuing through May, We sing most Sunday mornings from September through May, at either the 8:00am or 9:30am morning services, as well as Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve and Ash Wednesday. In addition, special music is presented for Christmas, Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter services. Come on Thursdays for an evening of music, fellowship and sometimes sweet treats! Children's Choir

Stay-N-Play
Children 5 and younger are invited to join us in our Family Life Center gymnasium to play! There is plenty of room to run around and get that energy out. Join us on Tuesdays 9:30-11:00am in September-May!
Faith and Body
Accept the challenge! We get together on Thursdays from 9-10am (Sept.-May) to encourage and inspire each other to take care of our bodies and our faith.
MomCo
O.W.L.S
Join our Older Wiser Loving Seniors (O.W.L.S) luncheon on the second Tuesday of every month (September-May)! Also, enjoy a variety of activities such as speakers, crafts, fellowship, and more!
Memory Bears
We meet on the fourth Tuesday at 9 AM! We sew 24-inch stuffed teddy bears out of clothing from one who has passed away to comfort those who are grieving. We also make bears to order as well as new bears we offer for sale on the 1st Sunday in May, called “Bear Sunday”. ALL proceeds are donated to children in need, such as those in the local hospice program, in our own congregation, the local homeless shelter, an orphanage and a children’s hospital.
Whether or not you can sew, we need you!
Moms at MomCo get together for activities and discussion with other moms while the kids have an opportunity to play in the gym. We meet on select Friday mornings Sept-May.

Environmental Care
Calling all green thumbs to help with landscaping, gardening, planting, watering and beautifying the church grounds. Come whenever you are able!

Quilters
QUILTERS Meet the third Tuesday at 9 a.m. to assemble and tie quilts that are sent to Lutheran World Relief (LWR) where they are distributed around the world to the people affected by natural disasters or war. Our quilts are used as warm bedding, simple tents or floor coverings.We also make lap robes for our local Lightways Hospice and baby quilts for our own Li’l Loves Ministry. No sewing or quilting experience needed. in and meet new friends.

Daybreak Shelter
Volunteers meet at Daybreak Shelter 611 Cass Street, Joliet the 2nd Monday of every month to prepare and serve food. 5:30-7pm. If you can volunteer or provide supplies, please submit the form below or call the church office.

3M Messiah Mens Ministry
Messiah Mens Ministry is a bible study for men of all ages. We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm.
