Faith & Body Challenge

Our Faith and Body Challenge ministry is a group dedicated to help improve their health with light movement and stretching, and encouraging each other through faith.

FAQ’s

 

How do we keep track of our monthly challenge?

  • Each month you will receive a calendar to keep track of your progress.  On Thursday mornings by 9:00 you will report how many days you achieved your goal.  You will get a bonus point if you memorize the memory verse.  So, the max points you can report is 8 points.

Do I have to show up each week?                     

  • No, but we would like you to.  That’s how we will encourage each other.  If you can’t make it, please make sure to communicate your progress each week.  Either on the FaceBook page or email Sherri at Bookkeeper@MLCjoliet.org

What type of exercise will you be doing?

  • The movement will be low impact, such as walking or low impact aerobics.  The stretching will always have a seated option, so don’t worry we won’t make you get on the floor. 

Do I need to bring my own floor mat?

  • We will provide some mats, but if you have one, please do bring it.

Will there be childcare?

  • At this time no, but if there is a need, we will do our best to find some.  Please let Sherri or Lynda now your needs.

Is there a weigh in each week?

  • No, but you may want to track your starting weight.  This is optional, but if you do, we can celebrate the successes of the group.
