CHRISTMAS AT MESSIAH

 

ROSE ANN SOCHAN PIANO CONCERT (November 27 at 3 pm)

Join us for a special afternoon concert with our very own Rose Ann Sochan, November 27 at 3 pm in the sanctuary. Enjoy your favorite songs of the Christmas season with a piano concert featuring special guests and including Messiah Lutheran’s sanctuary choir. This is a free concert to attend.

 

MOVIE NIGHT (December 11 at 4 pm)
On Sunday, December 11 at 4 pm, we are hosting A Night at the Nativity event at church. Together we will watch David Jeremiah’s new film, Why the Nativity? This movie night is open to everyone, young and old, saved and unsaved. If you have friends that are typically hesitant to attend church on the weekends, this is the perfect opportunity to invite them. After all, it’s a movie night!

 

CHRISTMAS CANTATA (Sunday, December 18)
Our annual Christmas cantata will be on December 18th during the 8 and 9:30 a.m. services. Please attend and hear our wonderful choir celebrate the birth of Jesus in song.

SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN’S PROGRAM (Sunday, December 18)

Our Sunday School Children’s Program will happen on December 18th at 3 pm in the FLC. The rehearsal will be December 17th at 3 pm. Contact Summar Evans at summarsoaps@yahoo.com with any questions you might have. Make a point to come out and support our kids!

 

WHY THE NATIVITY? SERMON SERIES

For the four Sundays in Advent, we will be answering four questions: why did Jesus become a man, why Joseph, why Mary and why call him Savior? Please attend these specially themes services on Sunday, 8, 9:30 and 11 am.

 

ADVENT SERVICES (Wednesdays at 7 pm)
November 30, December 7, 14 & 21

 

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES (5, 7 & 11 pm)
Join us for a contemporary Christmas Eve service at 5 pm, and traditional services at 7 and 11 pm. All services are candlelight services.

CHRISTMAS DAY (10 am)
We will have one Christmas Day Sunday service at 10 am.

 

NATIVITY SCENES
We’re asking people to bring in their family nativity scenes so that we can display them in the narthex. Please bring them to the office so that we can make a card with your family’s name on it and place it next to the nativity. Please bring them Sunday, November 27 and leave them on display until December 24. Thank you.
